The Vandoren CR8035+ Bb Clarinet V21 Reeds Strength 3.5+ come in a box of 10 and are black in color. The V21 reed combines the conical shape of a 56 rue Lepic reed with a V.12 profile, making all registers of the clarinet more accessible with warmth and depth of sound. This unique combination allows for amazing presence and immediate response, making the V21 the perfect reed for performances that require the ability to handle large interval leaps efficiently with an even rich tone. Each V21 reed is sealed in a 'Flow Pack' to ensure freshness.

The Vandoren CR1935 Bb Clarinet V.12 Reeds Strength 3.5 also come in a box of 10 and are designed for the advanced player. These reeds are made from thicker cane and are recommended for long facing mouthpieces. The V.12 reeds are manufactured from cane tubes of the same diameter as those used for saxophone reeds, leading to a higher manufacturing cost due to the rarity of large diameter cane. The V.12 reeds are thicker at each end, with a tip thickness of .10mm and a heel thickness of 3.15mm, hence the name V.12. Compared to traditional reeds, a V.12 strength 4 reed is almost equal to a strength 3 1/2 reed.
